As part of its commitment to providing playing opportunities for all levels of playing ability and increasing competition opportunities for all, the ITTA is delighted to announce the launch of the STIGA Shamrock Series.

This series of events, brought to the membership in partnership with STIGA Ireland ( offers a Series of fun tournaments, hosted across a number of clubs in Ireland over the coming 12 months. The aim is to offer increased playing opportunities to our adult members and offer tournament opportunties to players who may not yet be at the level of National or Provincial competition.

Series Sponsor STIGA are represented in Ireland by Tommy Fitzgerald who stated;

“I am delighted to be involved at the launch of this Series which STIGA hope will be as succesful as the STIGA Junior Challenger Series which has attracted over 1500 underage players to try competitive table tennis over the past 3 years – if we can mimic this success with our adults, I will be delighted”

The first event of the Series will be hosted by Dundrum TTC, a rapidly growing club in the South of Dublin. Club spokesperson Roman Pszonka is delighted to host the inaugural Shamrock Series event;

 We are currently one of the fastest growing clubs in Dublin, with great conditions for play & practice – with a full size basketball hall and 12 top quality tables available. The club is currently gearing up for the addition of a Junior section in June to compliment the rapidly growing senior section”

ITTA Chair Pat Hunter also welcomed the Series launch;

Secondly, thanks to Dundrum TTC who are rapidly becoming a top class club for our members in the Dublin region.
