Adam brings over 20 years of experience in sport, within Ireland, UK and Australia. As the Director of Aquatic Sports in Swim Ireland, he plays a key leadership role within the organisation and has been responsible for leading strategic and operational delivery across multiple areas, including national competitions, major events, and aquatic sport development

In his past and current position with Swim Ireland he has been instrumental in advancing competitions, club governance, pathways, and strategic collaboration across the sector. Throughout his time, he has overseen the delivery of several large-scale events and international competitions and more recently has been responsible for overseeing the transformation and strategic direction of the popular sport of open water swimming.

As a Senior Manager with Swim Ireland Adam works closely with national and regional committees to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and has real hands-on experience implementing strong governance standards.
