Role: Under 10 National Coordinator (Part-time)
Tennis Ireland is currently looking for an Under 10 National Coordinator to join the Tennis Ireland team. The successful candidate will report to the Tennis Ireland National Performance Development Director.
This role is offered on a part-time basis for 20 hours per week and subject to a 6-month probation period. A level of flexibility is required for the role and some evening/weekend work could be required from time to time.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
· Lead TI Junior Kids programme by delivering coach education workshops nationwide.
· Organise, coordinate and deliver TI Junior Kids national tour events.
· Network with national age group coaches from other nations and elicit feedback to design best practice document for aged 10 and under for distribution to all stakeholders (national, provincial and club level).
· Collaborate with the Regional and Performance Development Officers and the other national age group coaches to ensure smooth running of the programme.
· Work with those players individual coaches to implement additional training that compliments their current schedule.
· Introduce the selected programme at provincial level and liaise with clubs regarding best practice.
· Deliver high quality on-court training sessions at national camps.
· Hold regular coaches and parents’ information meetings regarding best practices for players U10 and underage group.
· Maintain and manage relevant databases ensuring that they are updated frequently and complete data collection exercises as and when required.
· Develop good relations with clubs, players, members of the public and all stakeholders.
· Flexibility to work weekends and to travel internationally when requested.

· You may be required to perform other duties as may reasonably be required of you in relation to the role and the organisation.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
·Tennis Ireland Level 4 coaching qualification or international equivalent is preferred although level 3 coaching qualification may be considered.
· Proven experience working with players in the 10 and underage group.
· Experience of developing training programmes.
· Strong understanding of age-appropriate training methodologies.
· Valid Safeguarding Certificate and Garda Vetting.
· Eligible to work in Ireland.
· Current driver’s licence.

· Remuneration will be dependent on relevant experience.
