Table Tennis Ireland (TTI), the National Governing Body for table tennis on the island of Ireland, is currently seeking to appoint a number of new volunteer Directors to its Board.
Following the appointment of our first CEO in 2024, the establishment of a professional executive team, and the implementation of an ambitious six‑year strategic plan, TTI is entering an exciting phase of growth and organisational development. Strengthening our Board is a key part of that journey.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
- Finance / Financial Management
- Marketing, Commercial or Sponsorship
- Governance and Risk Management
- HR / People Development
Previous involvement in table tennis is not required. We are keen to hear from individuals who bring strong professional expertise, sound judgement, and a commitment to good governance in sport. Female applications are particularly encouraged as part of our commitment to maintaining gender balance at Board level.
Board roles are voluntary, with a manageable time commitment and reasonable expenses reimbursed.

What’s Involved?
- Up to 8 board meetings per year (largely online)
- Approx. 2–3 hours per month outside meetings
- Voluntary role with reasonable expenses reimbursed
- Initial 3year term, with the option of reappointment
