Student Sport Ireland invite applications for the newly established full-time contracted (3 years) role of Adventure Sports Manager. The role has been developed following collaboration between the Irish Adventure Sport Training Trust (IASTT), Canoeing Ireland, Mountaineering Ireland, and Student Sport Ireland.
The role is funded exclusively by the IASTT reflecting the strategic importance for the IASTT and the NGBs for Adventure Sports of HE Adventure Sports clubs, and student participation in Adventure Sports clubs.
The Adventure Sports Manager’s primary remit will be to support HE Adventure Sports clubs, ensuring the clubs operate to the highest safety and training standards. Working in close collaboration with NGBs for Adventure Sports, and SSI affiliated HEIs, the appointee will lead the coordination of delivery of HE Adventure Sports clubs’ development initiatives, with a focus on safety, risk, training, and leadership.

The role is accompanied by a starting salary of €40,000 with pension, hybrid work flexibility and 23 days annual leave.
