
Alison Deane
Member Services Executive
Alison Deane is Member Services Executive at the Federation of Irish Sport, where she supports a wide range of services for member organisations, including board recruitment and training, Garda vetting, the Federation’s monthly newsletter, and sustainability initiatives. Alison brings over 30 years of experience in hospitality, event management, and client services.
She spent eight years working in hotels and private clubs across the UK and USA before leading the Irish operations of US-based luxury golf tour company Premier Golf for 23 years. In that role, she managed international golf travel and coordinated major events including The Open and the Ryder Cup.
In 2022, Alison completed a Graduate Certificate in Management for Sustainable Development from Dublin City University, furthering her expertise in organisational sustainability.
A long-time advocate for sport and volunteerism, Alison has been active in lifesaving and swimming sport for over 15 years. She serves on the Sports Commission of Water Safety Ireland, and is a national recorder and administrator for the Irish Lifesaving Squad. In recognition of her dedication, she was named Sport Volunteer of the Year by Water Safety Ireland in 2024.
