Role and Reporting Structure
Reporting to the Education Manager, this role supports the Education team in delivering a high-quality customer service and administration function.
The primary focus of the role is to manage inbound phone calls and emails, ensuring all queries are handled in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.
This is a front-facing role requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple systems and priorities.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Responsibilities for the Education Administrator include the following:
- Act as the first point of contact for phone and email enquiries
- Respond to all queries in a timely and professional manner
- Manage and monitor shared inboxes, escalating queries where appropriate
- Support course administration including bookings, registrations, and records
- Maintain accurate data across internal systems and learning platforms
- Assist in the organisation of courses, CPD events, and conferences
- Provide general administrative support to the Education team
- Contribute to continuous improvement of customer experience
- Other duties as required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail

Remuneration and Location
Salary: Commencing at €16 per/ hour.
Job Type: Part-time, 10am-3pm, Monday to Friday.
Position Tenure: 12-16 week fixed-term contract.
Position Location: Swim Ireland Head Office, Irish Sport HQ, Sport Ireland Campus, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. Some level of hybrid working will be permitted but is dependent on the requirements of the business.
