INTRODUCTION Tennis Ireland is the National Governing Body for the Sport of Tennis in Ireland.
We are seeking a highly motivated, driven individual to join the Tennis Ireland Team in the role of Operations Administrator for the Organisation.
JOB DESCRIPTION Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, he/she is expected to support the Operations Department to deliver the highest quality services to our stakeholders
RESPONSIBILITIES ▪ Day to day administration of the Tennis Ireland National Academy Programme including contracts, parent’s queries, general emails, calls and event management planning; ▪ Coordinate all travel and accommodation arrangements in consultation with Performance Director for all academy and national teams including players, coaches & parents; ▪ Co-ordinate selection committee for national teams; ▪ Assistance with the Preparation of board reports, AGM reports and assistance with Sport Ireland funding applications; ▪ Administration of coach education courses, including Tennis Leaders, Play & Stay and Level 1, 2 & 3 courses. ▪ Management of the Coach Licensing scheme; ▪ Administration of the Clubmark programme; ▪ Management of Garda Vetting (processing applications, sending finalised documents, dealing with day to day queries, management of online system & updating of database, liaising with National Vetting Bureau, attending workshop & seminars); ▪ Website Maintenance & uploading of information; ▪ Posting on all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Snapchat; ▪ Provide operational support for events and tournaments as approved by the Operations Manager; ▪ Liaison and dealing with, in a timely manner, queries and requests for support or information from affiliated clubs and their members, Tennis Ireland Board members and colleagues from within the Tennis Ireland family. ▪ Support the day to day operations of Tennis Ireland including recording and responding to correspondence, liaising with clubs, suppliers and contractors and the management of key data and information;
SALARY Salary will be commensurate with applicant’s qualifications and experience
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA • Third Level qualification- preferably in a Sports related area or discipline. • 2 years experience in a sports operations environment • Excellent oral and written communications skills • Excellent organisational skills • Excellent communications skills • Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders • Administrative experience including proficiency in MS Office suite • A clean current full driving licence and access to a form of transport to meet the • requirements of the post in full. • A flexible approach to hours required including the ability to attend evening and weekend meetings.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA • Experience with Garda Vetting • Safeguarding 1 & 3 • Experience with social media
