The intern will gain practical experience in the daily planning and running of a national governing body of sport, including communications and administration. They will practice and develop core spoken and written communication skills. The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following office duties: customer service, taking/making phone calls, researching small projects, letter writing and using a varied range of computer systems. On completion the intern will have attained skills in all general office duties including receptionist duties, which will provide them with the attributes required to progress in all Administration roles, and have an understanding of a national governing body of sport.


Skills Requirements

Candidates must have an interest in administration. They should have good IT skills, with a good understanding of the Internet. They should have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. They must be willing to take direction and learn new skills.

Please Note:

This is an Internship. An allowance of €50 per week will be paid in addition to your current Social Welfare payment.
