Cricket Ireland is the governing body for the game at both performance and participation levels throughout Ireland, representing the interests of both the men’s and women’s game.
The Ireland Women’s team enjoyed recent success qualifying for the 2014 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 in Bangladesh (the only Associate country), and winning the ICC European T20 Championship. In 2015 Ireland will compete in the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Qualifier, the ECB Women’s County Championship Division 2 and ECB Women’s Twenty20 Cup Division 1.
Cricket Ireland is seeking a National Women’s Head Coach and Performance Pathway Manager to lead and coach the senior women’s squad, emerging player’s programme and youth squads.
Based in Dublin but with a national brief, the successful candidate will report to the Performance Director and work closely with the National Academy Manager, having responsibility for the day-to-day running of the national women’s performance and emerging player’s programme.
They will also manage and oversee development of the player pathway, including talent identification in girl’s cricket and ensure a sound knowledge and close link between participation development and representative cricket.
