The Cara Centre are seeking applications for the position of Sports Development Coordinator (with a specific purpose on sport and physical activity for people with vision impairments).
Together, the CARA Centre and Vision Sport Ireland are recruiting for the position of Sports Development Coordinator. The successful candidate will be a key deliverer of Vision Sport Irelands objectives with as well as a specific focus on the long term planning and implementation of Camp Abilities Ireland.
CARA is a national organisation which provides a collaborative and partnership platform throughout Ireland to impact on enhancing sport and physical activity opportunities for people with disabilities. In conjunction with the Institute of Technology Tralee, the CARA Centre established Camp Abilities Ireland, a national sport and physical activity residential camp for children with vision impairments.
Vision Sports Ireland (VSI) is the officially registered National Governing Body for sport for people with vision impairments. VSI’s mission is to enable blind and vision impaired people to participate fully in sport and recreational activities of their choice.
