Bohemian FC Youth Section would like to invite applicants for the volunteer role of Communications Officer. Bohemian FC are one of Ireland’s leading football clubs, and the youth section have a history of producing exceptional players, including Stephen Ward, Paddy Madden and Roberto Lopes. The youth teams are based in St. Joseph’s School for the Deaf on the Navan Road, Dublin 7; Albert College on the Ballymun Road, Dublin 9; as well as Dalymount Park in Phibsboro, Dublin 7.
Individuals of any level may apply as there is a training structure in place to gradually increase responsibility.
Description The position will involve creating an annual plan to promote the activities of the Bohemian Youth Section, as well as gathering feedback with regards to our promotional output. There will be on average 3 contact hours per week, with the possibility of it rising depending on the promotional schedule.
Successful applicants will join the existing youth section team, and also have the opportunity to increase their sport networks, and learn valuable skills such as event management, communication, and sponsorship marketing.
Skill Requirements The applicant should possess: .  Administrative and organisational skills  An understanding of the sports and recreation environment would be preferable  Good computer skills  Fluency in English  Outgoing and friendly manner, with a desire to learn new skills
