Applications are invited for an appointment as High Performance Team Sports Lead, AO Level, Sport and Recreation, 3 year Fixed Term Contract.

This post in Sport and Recreation will raise the performance quality of NUI Galway’s teams in national and intervarsity competitions. The aim includes increasing in the university representation on teams at inter-county, provincial, and International levels.

The holder will take responsibility for providing leadership in the design, development, and delivery of high performance training, monitoring, and competitive programs to the sports teams and individual athletes on behalf of NUI Galway. They will also develop strong relationships with agencies and organisation that may enhance or benefit services offered to sports teams.

Salary: Administrative Officer: €68,152 p.a. – €86,240 p.a.

(This appointment will be made on point 1 of the Administrative Officer scale in line with current Government pay policy)

(For pre 1995 public sector entrants in Ireland, the D class Salary rates will apply)
