A six month specified purpose vacancy has arisen for a Community Sports Development Officer at DLR Leisure.
The position will involve assisting Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Sports Partnership and DLR Leisure in the roll out of National Programmes and its local strategic objectives in increasing participation and building capacity in local sporting organisations. This will include a particular remit for the area of Ballyogan through the new public facility DLR Leisure Ballyogan. These actions would include liaising with local community groups, clubs and services to identify existing needs and opportunities and then work with DLR Leisure staff, partners and agencies to establish sustainable initiatives to meet these.
